Julia loved working on this local eatery project. The owner of a successful East Brunswick pizzeria needed help to create a new concept focusing on dining in at this larger Toms River location. Julia looked back on her years of experience working in restaurants while she went to design school to advise him on the flow and functionality of the space. City to Suburb brought our residential aesthetics to a hospitality design with durable materials, sophisticated finishes, and a welcoming feel. We collaborated with local artisans to create features including slatted wood paneling, preserved (real!) plants, and suspended metal shelving.
