Millburn, NJ is a family project close to Julia’s heart. Started over 5 years ago, the structure needed significant upgrading and to date, City to Suburb Interiors has completely renovated the kitchen including a small addition, reconfigured the deck, and replaced all of the flooring throughout the first level, as well as overseen all interior furnishings and interior decorations. A family home, this project was influenced heavily by the need to activate all the space in the residence for a busy family with young children. To that end, Julia created color palettes and oversaw painting of the entire house, created custom window treatments, and added modern touches to the owner’s existing mix of traditional and modern furniture. The renovation of an existing sun room into an in-home office, complete with marble tiles and modern furnishings, marks the crowning achievement of this project to date.
